Tim Cortinovis

Some conversations begin as business meetings and end as genuine discoveries.

A few days ago I had the opportunity to meet Tim Cortinovis while discussing a conference for one of my clients. They were looking for a keynote speaker on agentic AI and its impact on sales organizations, and Tim immediately stood out.

The first surprise came within minutes.

We started our conversation in English, but very quickly switched to Spanish. I wanted to hear how comfortable he was speaking it, since many of my clients in Spain and Latin America prefer keynote speakers who can present without simultaneous interpretation.

His Spanish was remarkable. Apart from a slight German accent, the conversation flowed naturally.

As we talked, I discovered that AI is only one chapter of a fascinating career.

Before becoming an international keynote speaker, Tim worked as a television presenter in Spain. He is also a novelist, spent many years in international sales and marketing, and earned a Master's degree with a thesis on Meaning Construction in Hypertext — a subject that feels surprisingly relevant in today's world of artificial intelligence and digital communication.

Another aspect that caught my attention was his philosophy.

Tim doesn't see artificial intelligence as a replacement for people.

He believes the real opportunity lies in humans and AI working together, complementing each other's strengths. In a world where many discussions focus on what AI will replace, I found his perspective both refreshing and practical.

He also shared some exciting news.

Very soon, several of his books will be available in Spanish, making his ideas much more accessible to audiences across Spain and Latin America.

Beyond his impressive résumé and international recognition, what I appreciated most was how approachable he was.

When I explained the event we are preparing, everything became easy. He was open, collaborative, and focused on finding solutions rather than creating obstacles.

As someone who represents keynote speakers, I know that talent is important.

But attitude is what makes collaboration successful.

I genuinely hope we'll have the opportunity to work together soon.

Because after this first conversation, I'm convinced my clients won't only appreciate Tim's expertise — they'll also enjoy working with the person behind the speaker.
